“That is why we have already sought assistance from the provincial government in a bid to fasten the opening of the road toward the new dumpsite, as we conduct massive information campaign regarding the appropriate discharge and segregation of solid waste in our area,” ani Allaga.
“I had already taken steps to fast track the development of the identified landfill area which was approved by the Mines and Geosciences Bureau to have met the requirements of the proposed sanitary landfill amenities. However, due to incessant rain showers in our area, we have yet to develop the access road going to our proposed sanitary landfill site. Yet, please be assured of the immediate transfer of the waste disposal spot and the establishment of MRF at Sitio Nanima, in the soonest time. In line, we also guarantee our full cooperation as to the implementation of the ecological solid waste management act in our town,” ani Constantino. (MALUNGON INFORMATION OFFICE/ ippalma)
