‘Para sa iyo– Rep. Emanuel ‘Manny’ Pacquiao have assured hundreds of residents, most of which belonging to the cultural Blaan minorities, of his unvarying support and consistent public service during a medical outreach program held late last week in Datal Bukay, Glan, Sarangani Province. GENERAL SANTOS CITY – Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao is now eying for  the construction of a P20M-worth farm-to-market road from Glan town to its farthest barangay in Datal Bukay, a reliable source said.

Brend Evangelio, the Congressman’s chief of staff said aside from his Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF), Rep. Pacquiao is also sourcing assistance  from the Department of Agriculture for the construction of an access road that will be use in transporting the farm produce of poor tribal farmers in the area.

(The Congressman, in some instance, have personally seen the actual living condition of these poor villagers here. And beside, the construction of Datal Bukay farm-to-market road is already one among our  priority projects for this year,” said Evangelio, over a telephone interview.

Meanwhile, Evangelio also dispelled a brewing  public conjecture believe to be hatched by Pacman's political foes.

Allegations stress that Rep. Pacquiao is now up in conducting a series of medical outreach in different remote villages to gain the sympathy and support of poor Sarangans in this year's midterm elections. The uncontested Congressman, is fielding his wife Jinky for the vice gubernatorial post in the province.

Evangelio said in a vernacular. (Isagani Palma-MALUNGON INFORMATION OFFICE).

Ayon naman kay Sarangani Information Officer Serafin Ramos ay sinabi umano ni Galing Pook Foundation Executive Director Eddie Dorotna sa wikang Inglis na “Governor Dominguez is only 36 years old, yet he has clearly demonstrated how good governance should be practiced and pursued. Undoubtedly, this is precisely what has endeared him to his constituents and how he has gained the tremendous respect of his peers.”
“Named after the late DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo, the leadership award is conferred to incumbent mayors or governors who have shown effective, transparent, accountable, participatory, innovative and ethical leadership,” ang dagdag pa ni Ramos.

MALUNGON, Sarangani – Local officials cited Land Bank of the Philippines for allowing the distribution of P3, 219, 000 million-worth cash assistance Wednesday, to more or less 1, 400 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (PPPPs) at the municipal gymnasium here.

Mayor Reynaldo ‘Bong’ Constantino said the over the counter distribution of cash grants have not only helped the needy of their health, nutrition and educational needs but likewise boosted income to the local business sector, as well.

This is of gainful choice especially to the part of our local entrepreneurs. For almost all of them (beneficiaries) bought their farm and family needs at the local market which boosted our economic activities,” Constantino said.

MSWDO Mildred Dela Cuesta said 4Ps is a national government-designed program which is aimed at reducing poverty by sharing conditional cash assistance to ‘poorest of the poor’ families.

“This program provide recipients the cash grants of P500 per month for health and nutrition, and P300 every month for each child education expenses to wit, a household with three qualified children could able to get a maximum of P1, 400 in every month,” Dela Cuesta explained.

Glaiza  Shane Potel, the municipal link on 4Ps, said the distribution was participated by all bonafied 4Ps beneficiaries from the 31 comprising barangays of the municipality.

A bank personnel who refuse to be named, said the actual distribution of  multimillion-worth cash grants and the influx of people could in some way attest that Malungon is now far in terms of peace, progress and development as compared to the previous years.
