This time, the victim with her son and several workers boarded their private-owned truck to allegedly haul the diesel fuel, while the suspects led the convoy toward the supposed place where the diesel fuel could be easily loaded to the truck.
The suspects later announced the heist right after entering a small secluded farm road and took with them the more or less P60, 000 cash of the victim. Tied, the victims however managed to untie themselves and report the incident to police authorities.
Community, barangay officials’ participation:
After the flashed alarm, Malalag Cogon Brgy. Capt. Randy Manguirn called the police at around 5:00 pm to inform about a Honda motorcycle with plate number 9400 IA that was left unattended for several hours, at a grassy portion of Malalag Cogon National High School.
