Free Dental Care and Operation ‘Tule’ sa weekly ‘Lingap’ program

Free Dental Care – Local government dental surgeon, Dr. Jean Galay is assisted by aide Vecinta Magbanua as they serve the long list of patients with oral health problem during the Thursday (February 12) held weekly ‘Lingap sa Barangay’ program lead by Mayor Reynaldo F. Constantino in Brgy. Datal Batong, Malungon, Sarangani Province. The DOH stress that aside from physical deformity, oral diseases could also cause disturbance on speech that is significant enough to affect anybody’s performance, nutrition, social interactions, income and self-esteem. To school children, it may posses’ detrimental effects on school performance and mars success in later life. Children who usually suffer toothaches are a dozen time more likely to have restricted-activity days in school, for it is among the leading sort to absenteeism. Operation ‘Tule’ sa weekly ‘Lingap’ program – Children awaits their turn during a local government-sponsored free circumcision session on Thursday's (February 12) weekly “Lingap sa Barangay” program lead by Mayor Reynaldo F. Constantino in Brgy. Datal Batong, one of Malungon town’s farthest agricultural hubs that lay the southernmost portion of Sarangani Province. MHO workers said aside from being performed on neonates and children for both religious and cultural reasons, the minor surgery may be also indicated for both therapeutic and prophylactic purposes.
