‘BAGWIS’ press corps, muling tinatag!



 

Our peace mission 'needs' you - Army brigade cmdr Col. 'BAGWIS' press corps, muling tinatag!

MALUNGON, Sarangani – MATAPOS manahimik ng may ilang taon ay muling nanumpa noong gabi ng Martes (June 24) sa harap ng bagong itinalaga na Army 1002nd brigade commander na si Col. Ronnie Villanueva, ang mga bagong interim officials ng Broadcasters and Writers Integrated Services (BAGWIS) press corps sa Camp Agaab, Brgy. Malandag, Malungon, Saragani Province.

                   Ayon kay Rey Remegio ng Periodico Banat na siyang tumatayo bilang chairman of the board ng naturang grupo ay muling binuo at tinatag ang grupo ng ‘BAGWIS’ sa layunin ng mga mamamahayag na makatulong sa ‘peace mission at pro-people approaches’ na isasagawa ng AFP sa ilalim ng bagong liderato ni Villanueva. 

                    Matatandaan na sinabi ng naturang colonel sa isinagawang turnover ceremony kamakailan lang, na kung maaari lamang ay “I want and hope to deal my AOR without a single shot of ammo,” dahil sa aniya’y katulad ng lahat - “nais din nitong mamuhay ng walang gulo’t nasasaktang tao.”

                    Nanumpa ang mga bagong BAGWIS officials kasabay sa idinaos na quarterly social gathering ng mga sundalo at nang AFP-Media fellowship gathering, na isinagawa sa pamamagitan ng isang masaya’t marangyang pagtitipon-tipon kasama ang tinaguriang Sarangani ‘darling of the press’ na si Mayor Bongbong Constantino ng bayan ng Malungon. 

                  “Ginapasalig ko sa tanan nga bilang nagapangulo sang aton LGU, ara kami permi nga magasuporta sa inyo (Media) upod sang aton bag-o nga brigade commander nga si Col. Villanueva, hilabi na sa inyo pagpangita sang mga dapat nga ipahibalo sa katawhan may kahilabtanan sa mga maayo nga nabuhat kag nahatag sa publiko sang aton nga pangamhanan,” ani Constantino.
