Malandag Flashflood

Flashflood debris – A young lass help her father in retrieving whatever thing that is found to be ‘still’ useful atop a concrete floor of their past home. Over 265 houses were reportedly swept by rampaging flood waters on Tuesday night (September 8, 2012) at the neighboring villages of Malandag and Datal Tampal in Malungon, Sarangani. Tattered home - A young father gape to nowhere as he sits the facade of a broken home in Barangay Malandag, Malungon, Sarangani. Local government authorities said the Tuesday night (September 8, 2012) flashflood has swept over P7M-worth of properties excluding the cost of damages to livestock and farmlands. The MDRRMC said the catastrophe has severely affected 265 households, and have left a total of 48 families to be, homeless.
